What should I do with my cats after flea treatment?

cohrsman asked:

I have fleas in my house and on my cats. I went to the vet and got the advantage drops for the cats. I have also sprayed my house, used a flea fogger, and have been vacuuming everything and cleaning the crap outta my house. Since both cats and the house have been treated should I continue to keep my cats quarantined in the bathroom or should I let them out. I’m thinking it’s probably ok to let them out now since the pesticide has had time to settle. Also, I think the advantage stuff on the cats is supposed to kill any fleas that jump on. I’m thinking it’s a good idea to let the cats run around so the remaining fleas that continue to hatch will jump on the cats and die. Advise?

Synthetic pesticides (chemicals in the repellents) can harm you and your pets very much!

Although Synthetic pesticides (chemicals in most repellents) may do the job of repelling insects from you or your pet these can be poisonous to pets and the children who play with them (as it comes off when touching them).

The chemicals can be absorbed into the pet’s (or child’s) skin, and in turn, into the bloodstream. The most commonly used synthetic flea killers can cause convulsions and respiratory problems, brain damage in humans, (so imagine how strong it is for your poor little kitten or doggy). Long-term treatment can even result in kidney failure in your pets. These are serious matter  which will also cost extremely much money in medications after woulds to cure.

All this can be avoided by using natural flea remedies and natural flea treatments for kittens, cats, dogs, puppies and even humans!

Here are some good natural flea remedies for puppies and a natural flea remedy for kittens too.

Why One Should Avoid Hitting Cats

Why Should You Avoid Hitting Your Cats When Training Them?

did you scare your cat to death?
Did you scare your cat to death?

Some people think one should train a cat by hitting it into submission or by other mean ways, but I don’t think that’s a right thing to do.

Look, if you hit your cats, they’ll become scared of you and want to avoid you.
Cats, they are such independent and free spirited creatures. Hitting them infringes on their sense of freedom and safety. So they’ll often react to fight for their freedom of expression and spite you even more.
And grow to fear and hate you.

How do cats and other animals tolerate the cold of winter?

Mieeo asked:

Especially cats, since they are so tiny. It is hard to believe that their fur does much when the weather is so snowy and freezing cold. My young cat will stay outside for hours at a time. Which brings me to another question, is there a way I can get my cat to be more of an indoor cat? It always wants to go outside unless it is hungry.

How can I help my cat adjust to the new cats?

ALMOSTBLIND2007 asked:

4 months ago I adopted 2 cats from the local animal rescue and the cat that has lived here for about 4 years has still not adjusted to these 2 new cats or the 2 addtional ones I adopted 2 months ago. The first cat took refuge downstairs in my rec-room on the coach and will only leave that spot to eat and use the litter box(usually) sometimes I find pee/poop on the coach. I have tried everything from keeping them separated to keeping them in the same room. When any of the 4 new cats(2 are still kittens) go near her she just screams bloody murder. Will she ever adjust or should I consider something else?

Cat Allergies -a Deeper Look at the Cause -and a Promise for Permanent Relief

Eva Marklund asked:

Having helped quite a number of people be free from their cat allergies using TAT,(Tapas Acupressure Technique) I have made some really interesting observations.

My philosophy is based on the modern commonly accepted theory that the allergy problem lies within the body’s energy system, and the cause is a disharmony between the body’s energy and that of the allergen.

It is this disharmony that causes a disruption, or blockage in the energy system which is what sets off the cascade of an inappropriate immune response which result in the allergy symptoms.

The object then is to retrain, or balance the energy system so it is IN harmony with the cat allergen.

Once that
