Joey was adopted from a rescue group in Austin, MN called Cats Off Broadway.
We knew he was the one for us when he was set on the ground and boldly walked up to a cage of dogs and began giving his sideways big-tail halloween cat stance at them when he was a mere 8 weeks old.

He has been a great source of joy for us – he is affectionate, talks a lot of smack, is always showing us his adorable “supermodel poses” and has quite the independent streak as well!

He started his Facebook page when he was 2 years old and we have had great fun with it and have met so many friends thru him.
He did invent the word “Poonanigans” which is now common vocabulary with the animal crowd on Facebook.
His pink nose melts the heart of many.

TTouch with a Paintbrush and LLama TTouch with rescue cats Nene and Mack

This is a demo of TTouch done using a paintbrush and then transitioning to touching the cat directly with my hand, using the Llama TTouch, which is a very non-threatening touch as it uses the back of the hand. All of these are very light touches, moving the skin around in a circle and a quarter, not pushing into the muscle. This technique works well with shy cats and can gently help to get them used to being touched with your hand.

Sadie the once homeless mom cat came to me weeks ago desperate and hungry. I had seen her off an on in various parts of the area, but didn’t know she was homeless, and I thought she was a farrel cat, but she is actually very friendly and affectionate, but then again maybe desperation made her that way. She had the kittens hid about a half block away, and I believe they were in an abandoned garage. She was constantly hungry with kittens nursing and would make numerous trips back and forth during the day, which wasn’t safe to do. She finally decided it was time to entice her kittens to come to a safe place. This morning there she was on the back steps with her 4 tiny kittens, looking as if to say look what I brought you, won’t you please help them too. My vet set for 50.00 she would spay, neuter, and keep the kittens until they are adopted out to a good home. I would keep them, but I already have quite a few rescued kitties.

Hi, my name is Sunny. I was born in a barn and have 4 brothers and sisters.
When I got a little bigger it was time for us to find our own homes.

All my siblings were picked and I was left all alone. One day the cutest little girl came and saw me and it was Love at first sight! Her family took me home with them.

It took a little while to get used to new surroundings and NEW siblings. My new kitty siblings didn’t like me at first, and it took some time for them to get used to me.

I couldn’t understand why this new family liked to sleep at night! Nighttime is playtime!! I tried everything I could to wake them up… biting their feet, jumping on their heads…etc.

I guess the only thing I could do was learn to sleep at the same time they do. I’m really happy to be here. I am very loved and cared for. I make sure I let them know how much I love them too. With me, there is never a dull moment in their house :)

Iz entering myself. Mami sez Iz awesome, but I think Iz shy. I want to run off with da circus, but I loves Mami too much to leave her. Mami sez Iz funny cuz I can read her like a book. (She’s like a book with pictures only, so iz not too hard).

Iz musical. I sit on da piano bench and play the piano wit my paws. Mami sez it sounds like John Cage. Bad, bad name!!! Anyway, I play celtic harp, too. Not well, unless you like the sound of nails on chokbord. I hate da drums. Gitar is hard. I sing but Mami alwayz sez “Shut up~!!”

Life is full of mystrees. Why can I not go hunting after dark? Why does Mami screem like a banshee and throw things at the ‘coons in da backyard? Why can’t I figure out the water fawset?

Balki is a Domesticated Short-Hair Breed with unique markings and colouring. He was abandoned at 10 weeks of age on a busy road not far from where I live and, I took him home to live with me.
I named him Balki after the character Balki in the sitcom ‘ Perfect Strangers ‘ and just like Balki in that show my Balki is faithful, handsome, friendly and goofy.
The best friend I could ever wish to have in my life. Dont need a real life Prince Charming as, I already have one in Balki.

We found Aladdin in a shelter and he was 4 months at the time, the biggest and most beautiful kitten there.He chose us by rubbing against our legs and purring…We instantly loved him. He is a gentle and peaceful cat who plays little and sleeps a lot. He doesn’t like to be picked up but will sit on you often at his choice. He loves to eat fresh steak and canned tuna, he is very spoilt and loved.

He tolerates his doggie brother Gypsy, a Bichon Frise.
He is an indoor kitty mostly and is sensative to peoples emotions and proves to be very calming when he sits on your lap.

He was named Aladdin…he doesn’t have a magical lamp so we have to rub his tummy instead!
