Joey was adopted from a rescue group in Austin, MN called Cats Off Broadway.
We knew he was the one for us when he was set on the ground and boldly walked up to a cage of dogs and began giving his sideways big-tail halloween cat stance at them when he was a mere 8 weeks old.

He has been a great source of joy for us – he is affectionate, talks a lot of smack, is always showing us his adorable “supermodel poses” and has quite the independent streak as well!

He started his Facebook page when he was 2 years old and we have had great fun with it and have met so many friends thru him.
He did invent the word “Poonanigans” which is now common vocabulary with the animal crowd on Facebook.
His pink nose melts the heart of many.

Hi, my name is Sunny. I was born in a barn and have 4 brothers and sisters.
When I got a little bigger it was time for us to find our own homes.

All my siblings were picked and I was left all alone. One day the cutest little girl came and saw me and it was Love at first sight! Her family took me home with them.

It took a little while to get used to new surroundings and NEW siblings. My new kitty siblings didn’t like me at first, and it took some time for them to get used to me.

I couldn’t understand why this new family liked to sleep at night! Nighttime is playtime!! I tried everything I could to wake them up… biting their feet, jumping on their heads…etc.

I guess the only thing I could do was learn to sleep at the same time they do. I’m really happy to be here. I am very loved and cared for. I make sure I let them know how much I love them too. With me, there is never a dull moment in their house :)

Iz entering myself. Mami sez Iz awesome, but I think Iz shy. I want to run off with da circus, but I loves Mami too much to leave her. Mami sez Iz funny cuz I can read her like a book. (She’s like a book with pictures only, so iz not too hard).

Iz musical. I sit on da piano bench and play the piano wit my paws. Mami sez it sounds like John Cage. Bad, bad name!!! Anyway, I play celtic harp, too. Not well, unless you like the sound of nails on chokbord. I hate da drums. Gitar is hard. I sing but Mami alwayz sez “Shut up~!!”

Life is full of mystrees. Why can I not go hunting after dark? Why does Mami screem like a banshee and throw things at the ‘coons in da backyard? Why can’t I figure out the water fawset?

Dats me. Nice to meetcha!
